In 2014, America’s Grow-A-Row (AGAR) and nourish.NJ (then known as the Community Soup Kitchen) received a $100,000 grant from Impact100 Garden State. They used this funding to provide Free Farm Markets year-round for the underserved in Morris County.
In 2022, AGAR President and Founder Chip Paillex congratulated Impact100 Garden State on its 10-year anniversary, noting that Impact’s support has allowed them to celebrate 20 years of addressing food insecurity throughout the state.
AGAR donates over 10 million servings of food per year, positively impacting as many lives as possible through volunteer efforts of planting, picking, rescuing, and delivering free fresh produce and hope to those in need. Watch Chip’s inspiring video message:
