Entrepreneurship as a Second Chance

Entrepreneurship as a Second Chance provides citizens returning from incarceration the opportunity to explore business ownership as a way to reenter society. This program provides participants with an intensive training and readiness program including multiple classroom sessions, one-on-one mentoring, business planning and all the other aspects of turning their ideas into viable business opportunities. Thanks to Impact100 Garden State’s funding for the pilot program, Union County Economic Development Corp. has been able to attract additional funding from other organizations to expand the programming.
