Housing Hope—Because Everyone Deserves a Home

With its $100,000 grant, Family Promise of Sussex successfully transitioned its shelter model from using houses of worship on a rotational basis to utilizing motels and furnishing rental apartments to provide more stability for families in need. Financial assistance and supportive services bridge the gap from crisis to stabilization and reduce the trauma of homelessness. Says Chris Butto, LSW, Executive Director of Family Promise of Sussex, "Thank you to the Impact100 Garden State Community for your belief in the work of our agency, the passion of our mission, and for all the support you have provided over the past few years."
