PRESIDENT

When I first heard about the Impact100 model of collective giving, I thought it was such an innovative and ideal model for a nonprofit, especially since I have always been interested in helping those in need. The more I learned, the more I became impressed with how effective and efficient the organization is, but no surprise—it's run by women!

I am responsible for seeing that our mission of awarding $100,000 grants to local nonprofits is executed per our Leadership Team Guiding Principles.

Serving as President has provided me with countless opportunities to meet and work with our members—women who are kind and fun and hard-working and who share my passion for Impact100. As President, I am also able to witness the amazing amount of work that gets done, all by women volunteers, to keep this organization thriving. It is truly humbling and inspiring!

Becoming a member of Impact100 will provide you with the opportunity to learn about our local nonprofits and provide you a way of empowering them to transform lives in a way that you cannot accomplish as an individual. Membership will also bring into your social orbit some of the best women on this planet and enrich your life with these friendships.

Education has always been one of my passions. I taught at my former high school as an English teacher for three years, then transitioned into an educational publishing career. I retired from full-time work in 2017 and in addition to my work at Impact100, I serve on the boards of two other nonprofits.
